The Sebastian Inlet State Park at Melbourne Beach is a popular hotspot for residents and tourists alike. For the surfers out there, you can try your hand at riding the strong waves that roll down here. If you aren’t the surfing type, you’re free to take it easy and stroll down the pristine beaches found here. In fact, lots of people come down here to do a bit of treasure hunting

Another place you might want to check out is Wickham Park, one of Melbourne’s national parks. This popular campground hosts 133 campsites, and is a great place to spend a weekend with the family. If you’re just looking to get some exercise in, there are bicycling and hiking trails available for public use. 

There are other amenities here as well, including an archery range, an 18-hole disc golf course, and a horse-riding station, among others. If you have a dog and wish to take it out for the day, there’s a dog park here too. Athletic fields and volleyball courts are also available if you want to get a quick game with friends and family.

Though it’s not actually a park, the Ritch Grissom Memorial Wetlands is a popular destination for local residents.
